- Enable career progression for senior engineers and support those transitioning into entry-level management roles.
- Shape team design, recruitment planning, and leadership succession while overseeing performance management across all levels.
- Lead technical architecture conversations for systems owned by the team.
- Advance system reliability, efficiency, and capacity for growth through ongoing enhancements.
- Track overall technical health and ensure a balanced focus between new functionality and technical debt reduction.
- Own and coordinate delivery timelines for cross-functional initiatives.
- Manage staffing plans and hiring strategies within the assigned domain.
- Anticipate and resolve intricate delivery obstacles spanning multiple teams, making informed decisions between immediate and future benefits.
- Communicate transparently with leadership about project progress, risks, and risk mitigation approaches.
- Collaborate with Product and business stakeholders to shape mid- to long-term product direction.
- Ensure teams prioritize measurable results and return on investment, promoting data-driven experimentation in line with strategic aims.
