Canonical is hiring an Engineering Manager, MAAS

Responsibilities

  • Guide a geographically dispersed team of engineers within your time zone.
  • Support professional growth via coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and career development planning.
  • Coordinate expectations and alignment with peer engineering teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Promote and evolve contemporary software engineering methodologies.
  • Contribute to technical excellence through code and system architecture reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, open source contributors, and external partners.
  • Attend global events, both internal and external, for four to six weeks annually.
