Design and lead the technical implementation of enterprise-grade solutions following product sales, translating customer business goals into secure, scalable architectures. This role ensures that deployments—whether led internally or by partners—meet technical, compliance, and operational standards.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer environments, requirements, and pain points.
- Create high-level and detailed solution designs tailored to enterprise IT landscapes.
- Develop low-level technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Establish and maintain reference architectures to standardize deployments across projects.
- Ensure all designs follow security, scalability, and compliance best practices, including ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and resource needs.
- Provide effort estimates to support planning and team allocation.
- Support proof-of-concept initiatives and technical workshops to validate designs.
- Guide partner-led implementations to ensure adherence to technical standards.
- Assist in resolving complex deployment issues and provide technical oversight throughout rollout.
Strategic Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor, aligning technical strategies with business objectives.
- Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to deployment.
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical decision-makers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in cloud, containers, and cybersecurity to enhance future solution designs.
- Contribute to internal best practices, improving delivery efficiency and partner enablement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in solution architecture or technical leadership within enterprise IT environments.
- Deep knowledge of data protection, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity principles.
- Hands-on expertise with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage systems.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including security considerations.
- Understanding of networking, compliance standards, and IT governance frameworks.
- Track record of leading digital transformation projects for large organizations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Direct customer engagement experience in post-sales consulting or professional services.
- Willingness to travel globally, up to 50%, to support deployments.
Preferred Background
- Automation and scripting experience using PowerShell or Python.
- Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure rollouts.
- Ability to work independently and drive technical innovation.
- Enterprise architecture certification such as TOGAF.
- Relevant technical certifications in cloud (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware VCP), or security (CISSP).
- Veeam VMCE certification is a plus.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with team locations across Seattle and more than 30 countries. The position may require significant travel—up to 50%—to support global enterprise deployments.
