As an Equity Research Analyst, you will play a central role in transforming complex datasets into meaningful, forward-looking insights for top-tier investors. Using alternative data and advanced querying techniques, you'll uncover trends across consumer and technology sectors, building cohort analyses, penetration models, and competitive benchmarks that inform real-world investment decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Extract and interpret key signals from large-scale datasets using SQL to support fundamental investment research
- Develop research frameworks that track concentration, market share, and behavioral trends across industries
- Partner with data teams to shape new product features and enhance existing research offerings
- Engage directly with institutional subscribers to clarify insights and refine research direction
- Support commercial teams by contributing to client presentations, webcasts, and external commentary
What We’re Looking For
You bring 3+ years of experience in equity research or analytical consulting, with a demonstrated ability to write clearly about financial and business trends. A degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required. You’re comfortable learning technical tools—including coding—and thrive in environments where curiosity and execution drive recognition.
Familiarity with the consumer or consumer tech landscape is a plus. Success in this role requires a commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and delivering precision in both analysis and communication.
