Shape technical outcomes and drive project success as a Field Application Engineer for power distribution systems across the Central Cluster. You'll serve as a technical liaison between engineering, sales, and clients, ensuring solutions meet project-specific requirements from concept through completion.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with engineering teams to define product specifications and support technical design processes
- Engage early in the sales cycle with pre-project teams to assess client environments, constraints, and objectives
- Translate technical, production, and quality requirements into viable system solutions
- Collaborate with engineering departments to develop customized configurations when needed
- Prepare and present commercial proposals grounded in technical feasibility
- Advise clients on optimal product application and installation practices
- Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with customer expectations
- Lead customer visits and support commercial outreach to prospects and existing accounts
- Propose improvements and innovations based on project insights and client needs
What We’re Looking For
You bring strong technical comprehension and clear communication skills. A valid driver’s license is necessary for regional travel, and fluency in English is essential for cross-border collaboration.
Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in electrical engineering or industrial automation, and experience in high-power electrical systems, busduct technology, or similar fields. Background working with electrical contractors or design specifiers is a plus. You’re persuasive, collaborative, and skilled at building consensus through influence and diplomacy.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with responsibilities spanning DACH, Benelux, and Poland. You’ll balance field visits with remote coordination, supporting an international network while staying close to local project sites.
