About the Role

This role involves installing, calibrating, and repairing medical equipment at customer locations, using technical expertise to resolve issues and maintain system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on medical imaging devices
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions in the field
  • Follow safety protocols during service calls
  • Document service activities in the system
  • Respond to customer service requests promptly
  • Calibrate systems to meet performance standards
  • Install new equipment at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using diagnostic tools
  • Maintain accurate service records
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams for parts and support
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary
  • Ensure equipment meets quality benchmarks
  • Support customer training on basic operations
  • Follow up on service outcomes
  • Minimize equipment downtime for clients
  • Use test equipment to verify repairs
  • Maintain assigned tools and test gear
  • Work independently within defined guidelines
  • Follow company service procedures
  • Respond to emergency service needs
  • Track parts usage during repairs
  • Comply with documentation requirements
  • Support service delivery goals

Nice to Have

  • Experience with medical imaging equipment
  • Previous field service experience
  • Knowledge of PACS systems
  • Familiarity with X-ray or CT technology
  • Exposure to service documentation software
