Philips is hiring a Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Offer expert technical guidance and solutions to clients and colleagues at an advanced level.
  • Deliver on-site and remote technical assistance to clients and colleagues, aligning with relevant training and experience.
  • Perform corrective, preventive, installation, and field change order tasks on intricate healthcare systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, hardware, and software system failures using established methods and data.
  • Evaluate and implement the most cost-effective repair solutions to reduce customer downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Field Service Engineer team in a rotating schedule, offering direct remote support to customers in a 5 by 7 work pattern.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to solve complex problems independently and logically.
  • Capacity to apply knowledge across various product ranges and modalities.
  • Aptitude for recognizing new technologies and adapting to daily challenges.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Nice to Have

  • HNC (NVQ Level 3 or higher) or Degree in Electro-engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in performing corrective and preventive maintenance for Imaging Systems devices and equipment.
  • Proficiency in IT/Network diagnosis, system connectivity, and remote service.
