About the Role
The Hardware Finance Manager will own consolidated financial reporting, forecasting cadence, and financial systems across hardware organizations. This position ensures leadership has a single, accurate, and timely financial view by integrating data from multiple teams and systems. The role drives standardization, automation, and scalability while supporting executive-level decision-making and evolving infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial reporting for hardware divisions, delivering a unified profit and loss statement across research, product, revenue, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses.
- Manage the financial operating rhythm, including monthly close, forecasting, reforecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment and accountability across hardware teams.
- Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to align bottom-up planning with actuals and enterprise reporting standards.
- Develop and maintain integrated financial models that consolidate inputs from product, revenue, supply chain, and R&D into a driver-based financial framework.
- Design and oversee financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance automation, reduce manual work, and support scalability.
- Maintain the hardware chart of accounts and financial structure to ensure clear ownership, consistent definitions, and system compatibility.
- Deliver executive-level financial analysis, including variance insights, trends, and forward-looking risks and opportunities.
- Implement data governance practices, including validation rules and review procedures, to ensure financial data is reliable and audit-ready.
- Enable informed portfolio decisions by standardizing financial comparisons across hardware initiatives and teams.
- Support the growth of hardware finance infrastructure by evolving reporting, systems, and processes to meet increasing scale and complexity.
