We're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to help shape the next generation of 3D printing technology. In this role, you'll develop firmware that powers both new prototypes and existing products, working closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to bring innovative features to life.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver firmware for embedded systems in 3D printers, from early prototypes to field-deployed devices
- Write, test, and maintain reusable, well-structured code with a focus on long-term maintainability and continuous integration
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement meaningful features
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical collaborators
What We're Looking For
You have hands-on experience writing software that runs directly on hardware. Proficiency in C++ or Python is essential, and familiarity with embedded architecture patterns—like control loops, filtering, and remote procedure calls—is a strong plus. You take ownership of your work, learn from setbacks, and communicate clearly across disciplines.
Technology
Our stack centers on C++ and Python for embedded development.
Benefits & Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Budapest, with regular in-office collaboration expected. You'll enjoy catered lunches three times a week, free snacks and drinks, and a dog-friendly workspace filled with diverse, motivated colleagues. Additional perks include a sports allowance, public transit support, private health coverage, and access to 3D printing resources. We also offer RSUs, ongoing learning opportunities, and a culture rooted in inclusion, innovation, and technical excellence.
Our Commitment
We value diversity and are committed to equal opportunity. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status.
