The Forecasting Analyst is responsible for developing and refining demand forecasts for service parts across the North American network. Using a combination of legacy and modern planning systems, the role focuses on translating historical data, seasonal patterns, and product life cycles into reliable demand projections.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and adjust forecasts using F2K and MARCS demand planning platforms
- Examine historical usage, seasonality, and service rates to enhance forecast precision
- Monitor and update safety stock levels based on demand volatility and supply lead times
- Conduct depot-level UCS analysis to improve inventory placement and service coverage
- Collaborate with inventory and network planning teams to align forecast outputs with operational strategies
- Engage with suppliers and procurement to communicate shifts in demand and potential constraints
- Support long-term inventory health initiatives in line with organizational planning cycles
- Identify opportunities to improve fill rates, availability, and overall service performance
- Lead efforts to modernize reporting through Power BI, SQL, and analytics platforms
