As a Forward Deployed AI Architect, you will take full technical ownership of AI systems deployed into enterprise settings. Your role is to shape how models, agents, data flows, APIs, and orchestration layers come together in production—ensuring they integrate cleanly with existing infrastructure and operate safely at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Define and maintain architectural integrity across AI deployments, focusing on patterns that support long-term adaptability, security, and composability
- Design systems that balance innovation with enterprise constraints—addressing latency, reliability, auditability, and compliance from the ground up
- Work hands-on across the lifecycle: building prototypes, refining production code, and resolving critical technical challenges
- Collaborate as a peer to senior customer engineers, translating business goals into resilient system designs through joint problem-solving
- Identify systemic risks, integration pain points, and operational blind spots—then establish guardrails that enable speed without sacrificing correctness
- Stay close to the code and infrastructure, ensuring architectural vision aligns with real-world behavior
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with direct involvement in designing and operating distributed systems in production
- Proven ability to lead architectural decisions and own their long-term consequences, especially in high-complexity environments
- Strong understanding of AI components—including model serving, retrieval, evaluation, and agent orchestration—and how they interact with data platforms and enterprise services
- A security-first mindset, with practical experience in identity, access control, data governance, and compliance frameworks
- Experience working directly with technical leaders in customer-facing roles, earning trust through clarity, depth, and delivery
- Ability to write, review, and debug production-grade code, particularly in systems where correctness and safety are critical
Environment & Impact
You’ll work in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment that values curiosity, practical solutions, and technical excellence. Your work will directly influence how enterprises adopt and operationalize AI—shaping both architecture and outcomes across high-impact projects. You’ll have access to cutting-edge AI tools and models, along with the autonomy to solve real-world challenges at scale.
