Join a team where engineering meets strategic impact. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work side by side with technical leaders at large enterprise organizations to design, build, and scale AI-driven systems that solve real-world operational challenges. This is not a theoretical role — you’ll be coding, debugging, and architecting solutions in production environments from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate directly with enterprise engineering and architecture teams to identify integration bottlenecks, scalability constraints, and system orchestration challenges — then design and implement robust solutions.
- Build end-to-end technical architectures using the Kore.ai Agent Platform and related frameworks, writing production-grade code and optimizing system performance under real-world conditions.
- Engage as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise architects and CIOs, leading design reviews, presenting solution blueprints, and aligning technical execution with business goals.
- Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concept builds, and system demonstrations that translate advanced AI capabilities into tangible outcomes for both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Bridge the gap between customer needs and product development by providing actionable feedback that shapes the evolution of the platform.
- Develop reusable solution patterns and technical assets that empower broader teams to scale successful deployments across industries.
- Support high-stakes sales engagements with technical depth — conducting architecture assessments, building custom prototypes, and reducing implementation risk for strategic accounts.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise software, platform engineering, or solutions architecture, with a proven ability to deliver in complex environments.
- Direct experience working with Fortune 500 or Global 2000 organizations, particularly in technical advisory or customer-facing engineering roles.
- Proficiency across APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Real-world experience integrating large-scale systems — including CRMs, ERPs, contact centers, and communication platforms — across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Hands-on background with agent frameworks such as Kore.ai, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI, and experience orchestrating multi-agent workflows.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML systems, especially LLMs, RAG implementations, prompt engineering, and conversational AI applications.
- Expertise in Voice AI — including voice automation, IVR modernization, speech processing pipelines, SIP/WebRTC integrations, and end-to-end voice bot design for enterprise contact centers.
- Experience deploying AI solutions at scale across thousands of users, multiple regions, and complex organizational structures — with attention to performance, reliability, and operational readiness.
- Prior work at enterprise technology firms such as Palantir, AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega, or similar organizations in solutions-facing engineering roles.
- A builder’s mindset: you write code, debug systems, review architectures, and create prototypes — not just presentations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a history of resolving ambiguous, high-pressure technical challenges through first-principles thinking.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex systems clearly to engineers, executives, and decision-makers alike.
- Experience shaping or growing field engineering, solutions architecture, or forward deployed engineering functions.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role based in Orlando, FL, with regular coordination across distributed teams throughout the U.S. and globally. You’ll work closely with implementation teams across time zones to ensure seamless delivery of enterprise deployments from start to finish.
Compensation
Base salary range: $180,000 – $230,000. Additional compensation elements, including bonuses, commissions, and benefits, will be discussed during the interview process. Equity details are not specified at this time.
