Shape identity solutions where engineering meets real-world impact. In this role, you'll work directly with customers and product teams to design and implement integrations, automation pipelines, and identity management workflows. Your work will directly influence how organizations secure access at scale, translating complex requirements into reliable, production-ready systems.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with customers and internal engineers to build connectors, APIs, and provisioning systems that integrate with identity platforms like SCIM, SAML, OAuth, and LDAP.
- Spend time both on customer deployments and internal product development, balancing hands-on coding with technical advisory responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain backend services in Go, focusing on scalability, observability, and long-term maintainability.
- Diagnose and resolve identity synchronization and lifecycle management issues across cloud environments and enterprise directories.
- Lead technical workshops, present architectural recommendations, and guide clients toward secure, sustainable identity practices.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn customer feedback into product improvements and roadmap priorities.
- Mentor peers and contribute to shared tooling, ensuring deployed solutions are well-documented and supportable.
- Support occasional travel for customer engagements and on-site collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience building integrations for user provisioning and identity management.
- Background in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions engineering, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Familiarity with identity systems including Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, or Active Directory.
- Production experience shipping backend services in Go or similar languages.
- Comfort operating in cloud environments (AWS/GCP) with tools like DataDog or Prometheus for monitoring and debugging.
- Experience supporting SaaS onboarding processes and deployment workflows.
Nice-to-Have
- Development of data-intensive admin interfaces or internal tools for SaaS platforms.
- Work with gRPC or other API-first technologies.
- Hands-on use of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Understanding of authentication protocols and access control models.
- Contributions to shared design systems or cross-product libraries.
- Experience in fast-moving startups, particularly in shaping both team practices and product direction.
Technology Environment
You’ll work with a modern stack centered on Go, cloud IAM platforms, and identity standards including SCIM, SAML, and OAuth. Infrastructure spans AWS and GCP, with observability powered by Prometheus and DataDog. APIs are designed for reuse, and gRPC is used for internal communication. CI/CD pipelines ensure rapid, reliable deployment.
Work Model
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely while supporting deployments across customer environments. You’ll split time between remote collaboration, internal engineering efforts, and occasional on-site visits. Some travel will be required.
