As the Founding Engineer, you will play a central role in creating the core systems that power a rapidly evolving platform. From initial architecture to production deployment, you’ll take full ownership of the stack—designing scalable solutions for bookings, payments, availability management, and guest interactions.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement end-to-end systems across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Make foundational technology choices that balance speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Automate manual operations using event-driven workflows and intelligent logic
- Integrate deeply with third-party platforms including payment processors, messaging services, and property management tools
- Monitor live systems, iterate quickly, and solve real-time challenges like booking synchronization and access control
- Define engineering standards and foster a culture of accountability, quality, and rapid execution
What We’re Looking For

- Proven track record building and maintaining full-stack or backend-heavy applications
- Experience working with web frameworks, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms
- Preference for practical, iterative progress over theoretical perfection
- A strong sense of ownership—you treat the product as if it were your own
- Familiarity with FastAPI, React, and AWS or similar technologies is a plus
