Mindrift is looking for a Freelance Software Developer (TypeScript) to contribute to AI model training and quality assurance. In this part-time, remote role, you will work on projects that improve Generative AI models for specialized questions and complex reasoning, with a focus on coding tasks.
What You'll Do
- Perform code generation and code review.
- Conduct prompt evaluation and complex data annotation.
- Train and evaluate large language models.
- Benchmark and execute agent-based code in sandboxed environments.
- Work across multiple programming languages including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, and SQL.
- Adapt guidelines for new domains and use cases.
- Follow project-specific rubrics and requirements.
- Collaborate with project leads, solution engineers, and supply managers on complex or experimental projects.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Jest in TypeScript environments.
- Experience with code review, quality analysis, and identifying and fixing code smells and type issues.
- Familiarity with test integration in CI/CD environments.
- Experience using, integrating, or tutoring others in AI/ML or LLM-powered testing and coding solutions.
- Strong documentation and bug-tracking skills.
- An advanced (C1) or above level of English proficiency.
- Ability to learn new methods quickly, switch between tasks, and work with complex guidelines.
- Reliable laptop, internet connection, available time, and enthusiasm for challenging work.

- Hackathon or competitive coding experience.
