Delivery Hero is looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic web team, where you'll create user-facing tools and high-quality products that drive the business forward. You will tackle the challenge of empowering customers and internal users with intuitive, diverse software solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain complex yet sophisticated and usable web applications.
- Test code to ensure the quality of new and existing functionality.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, DevOps engineers, and Tech leads as part of an agile team to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Experiment with new frameworks and technologies and continuously learn.
What We're Looking For
- A university and/or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Front-End development.
- Deep understanding of the whole web application development life-cycle.
- Thorough knowledge of web standards and protocols such as HTTP and REST.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with modern MV* libraries (React, Vue.js) and their ecosystem (e.g., Flux pattern state management, routing).
- Experience with modern browser APIs and optimizing front-end performance.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks (NextJS, Nuxt).
- Knowledge of modern bundlers, their build process, and configuration.
- Knowledge of component-scoped styling for UI development (preferable CSS Modules).
- Experience with responsive design and knowledge of UX principles.
- Excellent eye for detail and a self-motivated problem-solving approach.
- Superior analytical skills and a strong sense of urgency and ownership in your work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills (English is a must).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity working with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP).
- Experience with best practices and frameworks (e.g., Vitest).
- Experience working with back-end systems (Node.js/Express) will be considered a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor).
