Responsibilities
- Design and implement complete features, including database structure, API development, UI coding, testing automation, and deployment.
- Independently take on and finish tasks, with the expectation to do so starting within the first two weeks.
- Create and sustain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests as a standard part of task completion.
- Engage in code reviews both as a submitter and reviewer, offering clear and constructive feedback.
- Guide and assist less experienced developers through pair programming and code feedback.
- Take part in discussions about system architecture and design, understanding and evaluating trade-offs.
- Handle system issues and outages independently, with minimal supervision.
- Identify and take ownership of upcoming tasks without needing direct assignment.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to refine testing practices and shared quality benchmarks.
- Adapt and enhance agentic engineering practices as they develop within the team.
