Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, efficient systems for experimentation and data-centric products, prioritizing usability and long-term maintainability.
- Partner with senior engineers to shape architectural choices affecting system performance and scalability.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of small to medium-sized features, from initial planning through deployment.
- Detect, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve service reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to build and refine product features.
- Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and provide actionable feedback to team members.
- Develop clear, sustainable, and thoroughly tested code to improve system readability and reusability.
- Support improvements in system observability, monitoring practices, and operational standards.
- Assist in diagnosing and fixing live production issues, coordinating with support or other teams when necessary.
- Work across disciplines to align on goals, identify obstacles, and refine team processes.
- Learn from experienced engineers and help foster a culture of growth, inclusivity, and ongoing learning.
- Stay informed about advancements in software engineering, experimentation frameworks, and backend technologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of full-stack development experience with modern languages and frameworks.
- Experience building and scaling backend services, preferably in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, A/B testing, or experimentation platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, testing practices, and system reliability.
