Responsibilities
- Design and sustain full-stack web applications, covering frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Implement new features and enhance current software functionality.
- Connect and manage third-party APIs and external service integrations.
- Create internal systems and automated workflows to reduce manual effort in business operations.
- Convert business needs into robust, scalable, and maintainable code solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues while optimizing system performance and stability.
- Engage in peer code reviews to promote strong engineering standards and collective improvement.
- Manage and operate AWS environments across development and production using services like EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, and Route 53.
- Assist in defining and managing cloud infrastructure through code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Support and refine CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes, improving release and debugging workflows.
- Help develop effective monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing systems with practical dashboards and notifications.
- Assist in diagnosing live production incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive fixes.
- Apply secure coding and operational practices, including least-privilege access, network controls, encryption, and secrets handling.
- Monitor and optimize cloud spending by adjusting resource allocation, enabling autoscaling, and decommissioning unused services.
