Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Generative AI Developer to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions within our enterprise Controls Technology platform. This position plays a central role in advancing automation and operational efficiency through the strategic application of generative AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with AI architects and cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop tailored generative AI solutions.
- Design, train, and refine large language models using both full and parameter-efficient fine-tuning methods such as LoRA, QLoRA, Adapter Tuning, and Prefix Tuning.
- Apply advanced techniques including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), hybrid search, and multi-vector retrieval to improve model accuracy and relevance.
- Integrate AI models into production-grade systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Develop real-time and streaming AI pipelines to support dynamic enterprise use cases.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in generative AI and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical innovation.
- Uphold standards for ethical AI, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and responsible deployment practices.
- Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and support the growth of junior developers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience working with large language models and applying fine-tuning techniques including instruction tuning and parameter-efficient methods.
- Strong background in model optimization, including quantization, compression, and deployment tools such as DeepSpeed, vLLM, and GPTQ.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering frameworks and tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Langgraph, Crew.ai, autogen, and Hugging Face.
- Familiarity with major generative AI APIs, including OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude.
- Proficiency in natural language processing tasks such as named entity recognition, dependency parsing, text classification, and topic modeling.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras, along with distributed training practices.
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models.
- Strong programming skills in Python, API development, and data preprocessing workflows.
- Minimum of five years in AI/ML roles, with a focus on generative AI applications in enterprise settings.
- Track record of delivering successful AI projects in business environments.
- Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms for AI and machine learning workloads.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $125,760.00 – $188,640.00. Additional compensation may include discretionary and formulaic incentive awards, as well as retention incentives.
