As an HSEQ Performance & Insight Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping how safety and operational performance are understood across the business. Working from home, you'll use data to uncover patterns, identify emerging risks, and support strategic decisions that enhance safety and compliance. Your analysis will inform leadership and operational teams, helping shift the organisation from reactive reporting to proactive risk prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine HSEQ data across divisions to detect trends, anomalies, and performance drivers that influence risk management strategies.
- Transform complex datasets into clear, meaningful insights using Power BI and advanced Excel techniques, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical models that deliver real-time, forward-looking performance visibility.
- Generate monthly Business Performance Reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance for stakeholders.
- Apply predictive analytics to create leading indicators that anticipate incidents before they occur.
- Integrate AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, reduce manual effort, and improve insight quality.
- Challenge and refine existing metrics and data processes to elevate analytical standards and data integrity.
- Support governance by managing access and responding to inquiries through the Assure role account.
Skills and Experience
You bring proven experience in management information, business intelligence, or performance analysis, particularly within safety or compliance environments. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential, including hands-on experience with DAX, data modelling, and dashboard design. A track record of turning raw operational data into strategic insight is key. Familiarity with AI-enhanced analytics or automation tools is highly valued. Certifications in data analytics or Power BI are a strong advantage.
