Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain enterprise-level backup and recovery systems across a multi-site infrastructure spanning three locations.
- Operate and supervise around 10 live IBM Storage Protect (TSM) servers.
- Guarantee reliable execution of backup, restore, archiving, and data recovery processes.
- Administer storage pools, define retention rules, and monitor the health of backup infrastructure.
- Diagnose and fix advanced issues related to backup operations and storage systems.
- Develop and keep current technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Suggest and deploy enhancements and automation solutions for the backup platform.
- Work in coordination with Infrastructure units including Networking, Wintel, Security, and Database Administration teams.
