As an Implementation Engineer, you will act as a key technical partner for customers during trials and beyond, helping them integrate and get the most out of a developer-focused platform. You'll work directly with engineering teams to streamline build workflows, resolve deep technical challenges, and ensure long-term success in real-world environments.
What You’ll Do
- Be the main technical contact for new and existing customers, supporting them from onboarding through scaling.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
- Guide teams in optimizing their use of the platform to improve build speed and developer efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal engineering to report bugs, track performance trends, and share actionable feedback.
- Develop clear documentation for both internal teams and public use, improving long-term supportability.
- Engage with the developer community through forums, code repositories, and technical events.
- Help refine operational practices by contributing to tooling, automation, and metrics that drive reliability.
What We’re Looking For
You have experience in software development, technical support, or site reliability engineering, with a strong grasp of developer tooling and build infrastructure. You’re comfortable navigating Linux-based systems and modern infrastructure tools, and you can communicate clearly with technical teams across time zones.
- 3+ years in software development, SRE, or developer-facing technical roles
- Familiarity with build tools such as Bazel, Buck, or Buck2 is a plus
- Proficient in at least one programming language like Go, Java, Python, Rust, C++, or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Unix-like environments
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical contexts
- Proven experience creating or maintaining technical documentation
- A customer-first approach and genuine interest in solving hard engineering problems
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with team members across the APAC region and beyond. The company operates as a distributed team with a focus on asynchronous collaboration and inclusive communication.
