Help protect communities through technology that saves lives. In this fully remote role based in Hungary, you'll play a key technical role in deploying public alert systems used during emergencies. You'll work directly on the implementation of critical warning solutions, including Cell Broadcast and Location-Based SMS, ensuring they are correctly configured and integrated across global networks.
What You’ll Do
- Deploy and configure software systems in Linux environments for public warning platforms
- Collaborate with senior engineers, project teams, and mobile network operators during integration phases
- Support end-to-end implementation cycles, from system setup and testing to troubleshooting in production
- Contribute to technical documentation, deployment guides, and implementation checklists
- Assist in customer training and participate in on-site or remote deployment activities
- Engage with international clients and partners, ensuring reliable system performance
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or relevant field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- 1–3 years working with Linux systems in a technical or production environment
- Basic knowledge of IP networking, security principles, and VPN configurations
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), or infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Scripting ability in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages
- Familiarity with databases, monitoring systems, or CI/CD pipelines
- Clear communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally when needed
Nice to Have
- Exposure to telecom networks, including LTE/5G, RAN, or core systems
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, or CI/CD tooling
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Linux system accreditation
- Personal interest in emergency response, public safety, or critical communications
