The Insights Analyst plays a central role in turning raw data into meaningful intelligence that informs business strategy. Working closely with operations and research teams, this position develops reports and dashboards using advanced analytics to uncover trends, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements. The role requires a deep understanding of data systems and a clear focus on delivering practical insights to diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and related BI platforms
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract and transform data from complex databases
- Lead the full lifecycle of report development, from design and testing to deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Apply statistical and analytical methods to detect patterns, forecast outcomes, and support decision-making
- Translate technical findings into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical leaders
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to define KPIs and measurement frameworks
- Conduct root cause analysis on operational challenges and identify opportunities for optimization
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security across all reporting and analytical activities
- Stay informed about advancements in data science and business intelligence to improve team capabilities
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field is required, along with at least five years of hands-on experience in data analysis or business intelligence. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is essential, as is experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with SSIS, PowerShell, and SSRS is beneficial. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, leadership potential, and the capacity to communicate insights effectively to executive audiences.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $105,000 to $140,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability and life coverage, a 401(k) savings plan, paid family leave, nine paid holidays, and 17 to 27 days of paid time off annually, depending on tenure and level.
