About the Role

This role is responsible for turning raw data into meaningful insights that inform business strategy and operational improvements. Working across Retail operations and R&D, the analyst will design and maintain reporting systems, develop interactive dashboards, and lead data analysis initiatives to uncover performance trends and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and related tools to build, test, and refine reports and data visualizations for executive and client-facing use.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, establish reporting standards, and deliver insights aligned with business goals.
  • Lead end-to-end development of reporting solutions, including requirements gathering, QA, UAT, and deployment.
  • Apply advanced analytical methods to detect patterns, diagnose root causes, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to assess industry dynamics and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and security protocols across all analytical workflows.
  • Stay current with evolving data technologies and advocate for the adoption of improved tools and methodologies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business priorities in marketing, sales, product, and finance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a quantitative role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with SSIS, PowerShell, and SSRS is beneficial.
  • Strong grasp of data modeling, stored procedures, and querying large datasets.
  • Ability to communicate technical results clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, predictive modeling, or project management certifications is a plus.
  • Leadership experience or mentoring of junior analysts is advantageous.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with all interactions conducted virtually. The role demands attention to detail, analytical rigor, and alignment with organizational values around integrity, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range is $105,000 to $140,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability and life coverage, 401(k) plans, paid family leave, nine paid holidays, and 17–27 days of paid time off annually based on tenure and role level.
