BMW Group is seeking an Intern Data Analytics & AI to contribute to the development and implementation of modern, cloud-based data science solutions. You will work within our production division, supporting digital transformation initiatives that impact both series and prototype manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Gain insights into the entire production and innovation management process.
- Support programming of data pipelines and machine learning algorithms using the AWS tech stack or Snowflake.
- Contribute to the implementation of digital transformation in series and prototype manufacturing.
- Assist in developing intelligent, automated workflows with n8n and optional AI agents.
- Support creation of visualizations and implementation of data tools.
- Collaborate agilely with various specialist departments.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a comparable program.
- Deep expertise in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
- Proficient programming skills in Python, SQL, PyTorch, and PySpark.
- Practical experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience handling large data volumes, data lake architectures, and ETL pipelines.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Structured and results-oriented work approach.
Nice to Have
- Interest in workflow automation, system integration, and agent-based AI solutions.
