Responsibilities
- Assist in running experiments to enhance search performance using improved models, data strategies, and evaluation methods, with mentorship from experienced engineers.
- Develop and integrate components of the search infrastructure, including models for retrieval, ranking, and classification.
- Train and assess models, including those based on large language models, for use in retrieval, ranking, and categorization tasks.
- Support the scalable and efficient deployment and monitoring of search and ranking models in production.
- Work on refining retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines used for grounding responses and generating answers.
- Partner with Data, AI, Infrastructure, and Product teams to accelerate delivery of improvements and adopt real-world ML practices.
