About the Role

Work as a Vulnerability Researcher intern with a dedicated cybersecurity team based in Thessaloniki, with flexible hybrid and remote working arrangements available. This paid internship offers direct involvement in active research initiatives, allowing you to develop practical skills under the mentorship of experienced engineers.

What You'll Do

Collaborate on real-world vulnerability research projects, deepening your understanding of software weaknesses and exploitation techniques. You'll engage in low-level analysis, debug applications, and explore system behaviors across multiple platforms. Your contributions may support tools, methodologies, and findings presented at leading security conferences.

What We're Looking For

  • Fundamental knowledge of software security principles, whether from academic study or prior experience
  • Proficiency in C and Python for systems-level programming and automation
  • Working knowledge of x86 or x86_64 assembly language
  • Experience debugging applications to analyze behavior and identify flaws
  • Familiarity with at least two operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Android, macOS, or iOS
  • Solid grasp of networking protocols and TCP/IP architecture
  • Strong systems programming capabilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience in reverse engineering binaries
  • Background in code auditing and security reviews
  • Exposure to tools like IDA Pro or Ghidra for disassembly and analysis
