F5 is looking for an IS Security Engineer III to join our security team. You will lead our efforts to protect digital experiences by responding to incidents, assessing threats, and continuously improving our security posture. What You'll Do
- Lead Security Event and Incident response efforts.
- Perform alert creation and triage.
- Conduct security issue-related casework and communicate findings with stakeholders including end users, leadership, legal, and HR.
- Document actions taken in SIEM, ticketing systems, and casework.
- Make continuous improvements to Security Processes and Runbooks.
- Follow F5 information security policies to protect information assets.
- Stay informed on the latest security trends, news, and CVEs.
- Perform Threat Model Assessments and Third-Party Security Assessments.
- Perform cloud and host forensics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Two (2) years of overall professional experience in a related field.
- Two years of experience in Incident Response and SOC operations.
- One year of experience in eDiscovery.
- Two years of experience handling Insider threat incidents.
- Two years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
- One year of experience in Threat Intelligence.
- One year of experience in Threat Hunting and Forensics.
- Two years of experience with EDR and SIEM tools.
- Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike.
- Experience with Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Network and Endpoint Security.
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Privilege Identity and Access Management Solutions.
- Experience with Malware Analysis.
- Experience with Regex and shell scripting.
- Relevant certifications such as SANS GIAC GCIH or CEH.
