About the Role

Role Overview

The IT Administrator is responsible for the stability, performance, and security of core IT systems across industrial environments. This position operates at the intersection of manufacturing and technology, ensuring that embedded systems, enterprise platforms, and network infrastructure function reliably under demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot physical computing systems integrated into manufacturing equipment, ensuring continuous uptime
  • Deliver responsive first-line technical support for end users across multiple locations
  • Manage identity and access platforms including Active Directory, Okta, and Microsoft 365
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, servers, mobile devices, and machinery-connected hardware
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, coordinating with vendors when necessary
  • Monitor network performance and implement improvements to meet operational requirements
  • Support a multi-platform environment with systems running Windows, macOS, and Linux
  • Partner with Information Security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to scale IT practices alongside business growth
  • Track and manage the lifecycle of all IT assets, maintaining accurate inventory records

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing enterprise platforms such as Okta, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, and Filecloud
  • Working knowledge of cloud and SaaS environments, including AWS and Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure administration, and domain services
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps workflows
  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices in a corporate setting
  • Ability to document system designs and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Commitment to long-term architectural thinking and proactive problem solving
  • Willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
  • Experience with enterprise networking hardware from Cisco, Fortinet, or SonicWall
  • Ability to design and maintain networks across distributed factory sites
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks including CMMC and NIST 800-171

Work Mode

This is an on-site role based in Mesa, Arizona. Candidates must be able to work from the factory location.
