We're seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to help build and refine software systems that power our platform. In this role, you'll work across the development lifecycle, writing clean, efficient code and contributing to both frontend and backend services. You'll collaborate with team members to design new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems meet performance and reliability standards.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain single-page applications and backend APIs using modern technologies
- Write and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality
- Work with relational databases including MySQL and Postgres to store and retrieve data efficiently
- Use tools like Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes to support deployment and monitoring workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience building SPAs and backend services
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and engineering best practices
- Understanding of relational database systems and query optimization
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Python, or TypeScript
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Technology Environment
You'll work with a modern stack including Golang, React, React Native, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, and cloud infrastructure on AWS. Monitoring and observability are supported through Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus, and databases include Amazon Aurora and RDS.

Compensation and Work Details
This is a local position based in Brazil with a monthly gross salary ranging from $1,500 to $2,700 USD.
