What You’ll Do
- Collaborate across engineering, finance, and product teams to develop and maintain software solutions tailored to financial processes.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and monitoring.
- Use your financial background to spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements in data flows, compliance, and system logic.
- Build and maintain backend services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and clean architecture.
- Support teams in understanding and using internal systems effectively, bridging technical and financial perspectives.
- Follow best practices in testing, version control, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
- Strong grasp of financial concepts including reconciliation, compliance, and reporting cycles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with API development and backend systems.
- Understanding of software development practices, including version control, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Technology Environment
You’ll work with modern tools and systems including Golang, Python, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL, supported by AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, and monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana. Development follows rigorous testing standards—unit, integration, and end-to-end—with GitLab CI/CD enabling fast, reliable iterations.
Work Environment
This is a local position based in Chile, operating within a fast-moving, results-driven culture. The team values direct communication, ownership, and the ability to act decisively. We encourage questioning assumptions, learning from setbacks, and committing fully once decisions are made.
Compensation and Growth
The monthly gross salary ranges from $1,500 to $4,000 USD, depending on experience. The role offers clear pathways for technical and professional growth, especially for those passionate about shaping the future of financial technology. You’ll work with cutting-edge systems while bringing real-world financial insight to product development.
