As a Junior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building high-performance, scalable applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Working within an agile framework, you'll collaborate with technical and business teams to define, develop, and deploy mission-critical systems using modern software practices.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable, low-latency systems that handle real-time data flow
- Write clean, testable code aligned with product specifications and architectural standards
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure system integrity
- Work closely with engineering peers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins and related tools
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical challenges clearly and proactively
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of hands-on development experience with Java 17 or later
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Familiarity with API-first development and integration via REST, SOAP, and JSON
- Working knowledge of microservices, Spring Framework, and object-oriented analysis and design
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and optimization
- Proficiency with Docker, Unix environments, shell scripting, and AWS services such as S3, RDS, and Elastic Cache
- Background in Agile (SCRUM) environments, preferably using JIRA
- Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ/Artemis
- Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) principles
- Exposure to React and JavaScript is a plus
