The Business Intelligence & Data Governance Manager will lead efforts to build reliable, scalable analytics across Lifecycle Services. You'll shape how data is governed, ensure high standards for quality and consistency, and deliver insights that guide strategic decisions. This role is central to preparing data for AI use and advancing analytics maturity across operations, finance, delivery, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of BI solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify analytics needs, prioritize initiatives, and integrate AI-enabled capabilities.
- Drive adoption of standardized reporting and self-service tools to increase data fluency across teams.
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, including ownership models, stewardship practices, and quality controls.
- Define consistent metrics, master data standards, and documentation practices to build trust in reporting.
- Ensure data foundations—lineage, security, access, and accuracy—support responsible AI and advanced analytics.
- Work closely with enterprise data, IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to align with corporate policies.
- Assess data readiness for AI use cases, focusing on availability, quality, and feasibility.
- Guide best practices in visualization, reporting, and analytics, serving as a subject-matter expert.
- Support digital transformation by aligning data governance with new systems and capabilities.
- Partner with AI and automation teams to ensure data is structured and governed for model success.
- Embed analytics and governance into operational processes to advance performance and efficiency.
- Lead a team of analysts, engineers, and managers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Advise senior leaders on insights, risks, limitations, and opportunities tied to data and AI.
- Educate stakeholders on the role of governance and quality in enabling AI at scale.
- Build strong relationships across technical, business, and digital functions to drive alignment.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computing, business, economics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. You bring proven experience in business intelligence, data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and governance in complex environments. Familiarity with AI concepts and how data quality impacts model performance is essential. You’ve successfully translated business needs into analytics solutions and guided senior stakeholders toward data-driven decisions. Experience managing teams—directly or indirectly—is required. You think strategically, communicate clearly, and influence across functions without authority. A detail-oriented yet practical mindset helps balance rigor with speed and innovation. Experience in industrial or services environments is a plus.
Work Environment
