Lead the development of advanced iOS applications that interact with a distributed, energy-efficient cloud infrastructure. In this role, you'll take ownership of mobile architecture, driving technical direction while building scalable, reliable systems in Swift. Your work will directly shape how users interact with a decentralized alternative to traditional cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust iOS applications using modern frameworks and best practices
- Architect maintainable mobile solutions with a focus on performance, battery efficiency, and responsiveness
- Integrate with distributed backend systems and ensure seamless data synchronization, including offline functionality
- Optimize network usage and application stability across diverse usage scenarios
- Lead code reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering excellence
- Collaborate closely with backend and infrastructure teams to align mobile and system-level design
- Enforce security standards for data encryption, authentication, and secure storage
- Drive improvements in CI/CD, testing, and release processes for mobile deployments
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in senior or lead iOS engineering roles
- Deep proficiency in Swift, iOS SDK, and modern architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture
- Proven experience with concurrency models including GCD and async/await
- Strong background in RESTful API integration and asynchronous data handling
- Solid understanding of mobile performance, memory management, and data persistence
- Experience working in Agile environments with a focus on iterative delivery
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to guide technical decisions across teams
Nice to Have
- Production experience with SwiftUI and UIKit in complex applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release management
- Knowledge of encryption, secure storage, and mobile authentication patterns
- Exposure to distributed systems, cloud platforms, or deep-tech environments
- Experience with observability, logging, and mobile analytics tooling
