Lead Technical Architect (T24) is a strategic role responsible for shaping the technical foundation of banking implementations. This position defines end-to-end architecture, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements while aligning with client goals and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate technical architecture and non-functional design for complex banking environments
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between client stakeholders and implementation teams
- Lead resolution of advanced technical challenges across integration, infrastructure, and application layers
- Design secure, scalable solutions incorporating high availability, disaster recovery, and continuity planning
- Ensure compliance with architectural governance, methodology standards, and product best practices
- Collaborate with development teams to implement custom enhancements and integration interfaces
- Validate technical configurations and oversee testing for system quality and user acceptance
- Mentor technical consultants and promote reuse of proven architectural patterns
- Advise on environment management, release control, and deployment strategies
- Support UAT and coordinate with product teams to resolve system-level issues
Required Expertise
- Minimum 10 years in technical consultancy with proven T24 implementation experience
- Proficiency in Infobasic, Java, JavaScript, and application servers (jBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic)
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, RedHat Linux, and IBM AIX
- Experience with RDBMS platforms such as MSSQL, DB2, or Oracle
- Understanding of mainframe systems, JMS, ESB, and event-driven architectures
- Skills in API integration, message queues, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and security protocols
- Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, Single Sign-On, and workflow orchestration
- Experience in agile delivery and cross-functional team leadership
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model with mandatory travel to client locations. The architect will work closely with regional development teams and global product groups to ensure consistent application of reference designs and sizing standards.
