As a Logical Design Engineer, you will drive the definition and realization of micro-architectures for custom AI silicon. Your work will span from interpreting high-level specifications to implementing optimized RTL, ensuring designs meet strict performance, power, and area targets. You'll collaborate closely with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to deliver robust, testable, and manufacturable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate system requirements into scalable, efficient micro-architectures for digital logic blocks.
- Develop and optimize RTL code for complex silicon components using Verilog and industry-standard methodologies.
- Integrate third-party and internal IP blocks—including PCIe and LPDDR—into SoC-level designs.
- Perform static analysis through lint, clock domain crossing (CDC), and equivalence checking to ensure RTL quality.
- Support synthesis and timing closure efforts, working in tandem with physical design teams on DFT and DFM requirements.
- Automate design and verification workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or shell.
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in design practices and tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to align on specifications, debug issues, and deliver high-integrity designs.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in digital logic design and RTL development.
- Strong command of Verilog, synthesis flows, and EDA tools used in modern design pipelines.
- Proven experience with SoC integration, low-power design techniques, and timing methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting for automation and process improvement.
- Deep understanding of clock domain crossing, verification sign-off, and design-for-test principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative environment.
