You'll contribute to meaningful machine learning initiatives during a full-time, 12-week internship running from early December 2026 to late February 2027. From day one, you’ll be involved in designing, building, and refining machine learning solutions alongside a supportive team, guided by a dedicated mentor and peer buddy.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate on an end-to-end project, taking ownership of development, testing, and documentation
- Work with Python and key machine learning libraries to turn models into scalable applications
- Engage with team members and stakeholders to deliver robust, high-quality solutions in a fast-moving environment
- Strengthen your technical abilities by learning from skilled engineers and exploring modern AI tools
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree with expected completion between 2027 and mid-2028
- Residing in Australia or New Zealand with valid work rights
- Solid foundation in computer science and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in Python and enthusiasm for applying machine learning concepts
- A mindset oriented toward growth, curiosity, and learning from real-world challenges
- Ability to commit fully to the December 2026 – February 2027 program
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Hands-on work with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Familiarity with data processing platforms like Spark or Hadoop
- Experience using interactive notebooks for data exploration and prototyping
Work Environment
This role offers flexibility—work remotely, in person (if near one of our locations), or a blend of both. Locations include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Auckland. You’ll also have the chance to connect in person during a special campus week in Sydney.
