Responsibilities
- Conduct research to design, build, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models for diverse scientific applications within a team-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to define objectives and structure experiments, simulations, and modeling initiatives addressing complex national security problems.
- Develop and execute novel analytical approaches, gather and interpret data, and report findings in technical documentation and peer-reviewed journals.
- Support the creation of research funding proposals and work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including external academic and industry collaborators, to advance project goals.
- Advance independent yet aligned research agendas while engaging with a wide network of internal and external scientific experts.
- Carry out additional tasks as needed by the research team or supervising organization.
