This onsite role supports the reliable operation of a regulated manufacturing environment by delivering skilled maintenance across mechanical, electrical, civil, and general trade disciplines. You will install, service, and repair production and facility equipment including pumps, motors, boilers, HVAC, refrigeration systems, and material-handling infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance using the SAP system to track tasks, work orders, and equipment history
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues across plant and office settings
- Support facility readiness through concrete repair, drain cleaning, partitioning, and basic construction tasks
- Perform equipment lubrication, cleaning, and supervised electrical wiring under code compliance
- Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and tool inventory with accuracy
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, GMPs, HACCP, and internal policies
- Maintain and repair building systems, packaging machinery, and plant utilities
Qualifications
Candidates should have technical training or field experience in mechanical, electrical, or related trades, with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment. Proficiency with hand tools, measurement systems (English/Metric), and basic math is required. You must be able to follow written procedures, lift up to 55 lbs., climb ladders, and wear required PPE.
Preferred candidates hold formal certification or apprenticeship credentials and have experience in food, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with SAP or similar plant maintenance software is advantageous.
