Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of custom NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript 2.x for workflows, user events, and system integrations.
- Refine NetSuite configurations to support financial operations including general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, reporting, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain high performance and scalability of applications built on the NetSuite platform.
- Manage engineering initiatives by planning, prioritizing, and overseeing execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to gather requirements and convert business needs into technical implementations.
- Monitor project milestones and progress using Agile and Scrum frameworks with tools such as Jira, Monday, or Asana.
- Establish and enforce Git-based development practices including branching models, pull requests, and code review protocols.
- Supervise internal audits to verify adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Deliver expert-level support in SuiteScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and NetSuite tools like SuiteFlow and SuiteTalk.
- Enforce coding standards, testing rigor, and reliable deployment processes across all engineering outputs.
- Monitor updates in NetSuite, Shopify APIs, Celigo integrations, and EDI protocols to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with finance, inventory, and operations departments to ensure technology aligns with business workflows.
- Report project status, risks, and resolutions to executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Serve as a technical authority on NetSuite and integrated systems during strategic planning sessions.
