Leidos is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to provide hands-on technical expertise on a mission-critical program supporting DHS/CBP systems. You will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. What You'll Do
- Provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program focused on developing, modernizing, enhancing, operating, and maintaining services for DHS/CBP systems.
- Work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems.
- Determine and recommend the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and resource constraints.
- Participate in and/or direct major deliverables through all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including scope estimation, architecture, design, coding, and unit testing.
- Provide technical troubleshooting to support application issues and apply preventative measures.
What We're Looking For
- BS/BA degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10 years of prior relevant experience; or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
- At least 5 years experience with Mobile Application Development, with experience in both Android & iOS.
- Experience in both Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development.
- Experience in development of JAVA and Node JS applications.
- Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Strong application testing discipline.
- Creative thinker with knowledge of software design patterns.
- Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira).
- Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with DevOps frameworks.
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google’s Flutter engine and Google’s Dart language or similar Android/iOS frameworks.
- Active CBP BI.
- Experience with CBP.
- AWS Experience.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with other mobile frameworks.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
