Role Overview
We’re looking for a Mobile Developer with deep expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to lead the mobile side of connected product development. You’ll work across Flutter and native platforms—iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin—building seamless experiences for wearables, sensors, and health-focused devices. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own the mobile architecture, design reliable communication with hardware, and ensure smooth real-time data flow.
What You’ll Do
- Lead mobile development for IoT and connected hardware projects
- Design and implement robust BLE communication protocols between devices and apps
- Collaborate directly with firmware and backend teams to align system behavior
- Handle device pairing, provisioning, and over-the-air (OTA) update flows
- Debug live device interactions and optimize performance in real-world conditions
- Participate in architectural decisions and advocate for scalable, maintainable solutions
- Engage directly with clients to understand needs and deliver effective outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of mobile development experience
- Proven work with BLE in production environments, including data streaming and connection stability
- Strong skills in Flutter and either Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android)
- Experience shipping features for connected devices from concept to deployment
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Comfort with agile sprints lasting 1–2 weeks
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Commitment to high product quality and intuitive user experiences
Nice to Have
- Collaboration experience with firmware engineers
- Background in medical devices or regulated product development
- Familiarity with testing strategies for BLE-dependent features
- Hands-on work with OTA updates or device provisioning systems
Work Environment
This is a remote-first role with core collaboration hours between 10:00 and 18:00 CET. Occasional client meetings may extend to 20:00 CET, about twice a week. You’ll be part of a senior-level team that values initiative, fast feedback, and direct ownership. Compensation
