As a Palantir Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping the architecture and execution of data integration systems within Palantir Foundry and associated platforms. Your work will focus on creating reliable, scalable pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver both structured and unstructured data while adhering to strict governance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy end-to-end data workflows, covering ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery across distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain ontology models and data schemas that power search, analytics, and operational decision-making.
- Integrate Palantir with cloud services, APIs, and external data sources using secure and scalable engineering patterns.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and security specialists to ensure data consistency and system interoperability.
- Implement data quality checks, schema validation, and metadata controls to uphold integrity across pipelines.
- Support AI-enabled features such as semantic search and entity resolution by delivering clean, well-modeled datasets.
- Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, story development, and iterative delivery of technical solutions.
- Translate mission requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance needs.
- Enforce security protocols, including role-based access, encryption, and audit logging, across all integrated environments.
- Lead technical decision-making, guide junior engineers, and contribute to engineering excellence in a collaborative team structure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of five years in data engineering, system integration, or platform development roles.
- U.S. Citizenship is required; must be able to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance.
- Proven experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipeline development, ontology modeling, and cross-system data integration.
- Hands-on background with Palantir AIP, particularly in enabling AI-driven workflows such as analytics and decision support.
- Experience integrating Palantir with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, and API-driven architectures.
- Working knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, with strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets.
- Experience handling unstructured data types such as documents and images for analytical use cases.
- Understanding of data modeling, schema alignment, and metadata management across heterogeneous systems.
- Experience applying data governance, validation frameworks, and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles, including IAM policies, encryption, and audit trail management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members in a matrixed environment.

- Advanced expertise in optimizing Palantir Foundry pipelines and tuning ontology performance at scale.
