Role Overview
Join a high-performing technical team as a PHP Developer, operating at the senior level to design, develop, and optimize complex backend systems. In this role, you will serve as a key technical authority—either as an individual contributor or guiding a development team—tackling advanced challenges in application architecture, coding, and system testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead technical resource for the most intricate application development and platform initiatives
- Apply deep knowledge of PHP and backend technologies to design, code, and test scalable solutions
- Analyze complex data and system behaviors, accounting for variable and non-obvious factors
- Lead modeling, simulation, and technical analysis for mission-critical systems
- Provide expert guidance to development teams during coding, testing, and deployment phases
- Ensure alignment with existing infrastructure and leverage current tools and frameworks effectively
Required Qualifications
- 8 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in application development and implementation
- Proven expertise in PHP and backend programming
- Strong command of SQL and experience writing and optimizing stored procedures
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ColdFusion
- Familiarity with middleware scripting languages
- Background in Java development
Work Environment
This is an onsite role with locations in Minneapolis, MN and Chandler, AZ. The position demands deep technical engagement and leadership in complex software environments.
