We’re looking for a skilled PHP Developer to take full ownership of our technical systems at our Bristol-based production studio. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and evolving a custom WordPress backend plugin, improving our WooCommerce e-commerce platform, and building internal tools that support day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and extend a bespoke PHP-based WordPress plugin that powers core business functions
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across software, hardware, and workshop equipment such as label printers
- Collaborate directly with production and operations teams to design efficient workflows
- Ensure all systems are scalable, well-documented, and built for long-term maintainability
- Organize and manage the codebase to support ongoing development and team knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in PHP, WordPress, and WooCommerce development
- Track record of maintaining and enhancing custom WordPress plugins
- Ability to debug complex issues across interconnected systems
- Experience creating tools for non-technical teams to improve productivity
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
