Responsibilities
- Lead technical configuration, support, and improvement of PLM (3DExperience) and CAD systems for a global user community spanning North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Design and deploy engineering change management processes and system integrations to accelerate product development, minimize inefficiencies, and increase operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain instructional resources, system documentation, and reference tools to encourage best practices and widespread system utilization.
- Design and set up PLM workflows, external collaboration features, and integrations linking PLM, CAD, and ERP platforms to align with strategic business goals.
- Oversee updates, routine maintenance, and technical support for engineering software, including 3DExperience, SolidWorks, DriveWorks, and project management tools.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with SolidWorks CAD software to ensure consistent performance and a positive user experience across engineering teams.
- Lead efforts to resolve system issues and proactively identify ways to enhance system stability, ease of use, and efficiency.
- Partner with outside consultants, technology vendors, and internal IT groups to execute complex system implementation projects.
- Manage the release of new system functionalities and updates, including testing, deployment planning, user training, and post-deployment support.
