Arista Networks is hiring a Power Supply Development Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead the specification, development, sourcing, and qualification of OEM power supplies aligned with product and market needs as part of a project team.
  • Conduct hands-on laboratory testing to evaluate and characterize performance of new power supply units.
  • Design and support dual-grid and redundant AC or DC power architectures.
  • Apply in-depth expertise in analog and power electronics to system-level qualification processes.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences, including engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Track and assess OEM vendor performance throughout the power supply development lifecycle.
  • Partner with international vendor engineering teams and manage projects from initial concept through mass production.
  • Contribute to the development of future-generation systems by proposing design enhancements and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and regulatory compliance teams to ensure power systems meet global safety and certification standards.
  • Advise system and diagnostic engineers on optimal testing methodologies to achieve regulatory compliance.
  • Travel internationally as project demands require.
