Principal Agentic Engineer (Front-end)
Role Overview
This senior leadership position drives the technical vision for frontend systems in AI-enhanced digital platforms. You'll shape architecture, guide engineering teams, and bridge complex product objectives with executable software solutions. Success means delivering scalable, high-quality applications through a combination of hands-on development, mentorship, and strategic alignment across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve frontend architecture for AI-driven user experiences
- Guide and develop frontend engineers through coaching and technical oversight
- Partner with backend, design, and product teams to deliver cohesive, production-grade solutions
- Design and manage teams of coding agents to meet implementation goals
- Translate unclear or evolving business needs into functional, deployed software
- Embed AI-assisted development practices into engineering workflows
- Operate within a structured delivery framework using scrum and iterative sprints
- Engage in retrospectives to refine processes and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership in technical roles at Staff or Lead level
- History of shipping production software from ambiguous starting points
- Mastery of current frontend frameworks and their underlying systems
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and methodologies
- Experience building applications within cloud-connected environments
- Strong communication skills for client-facing collaboration
- Ability to lead and grow engineering teams effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cross-functional 'pod' team models
- Background in agile delivery using scrum and sprint cycles
